Strategic Partnership between LIFT and NAG for Improved Co-management of Ayeyarwaddy Wetland Resources
The purpose of the visit was to:
- Access fisheries livelihood and co-management issues;
- Determine potential selection criteria for future project sites;
- Determine potential research issues; and
- Suggest future field work possibilities.
The team met with:
- Members of the Kayay Fishers Association at Mubin
- Members of the Pan Tile Shin Fishers Association at Myin Ka Kone
- NAG Project implementation staff at the project office in Pyapon
- Township fish collector in Pyapon
